Do you prefer to read a book or watch a film of the story? Why?

Nowadays, many people prefer to watch movie than books because in movies, we can see the real people acting. As for me,I prefer to read book than a film. As for the Harry Potter, the famous novel which also made as films, the novels are more interesting than films.

That is because novels can give us more details and stuff while the film cannot make much detail for us. Movies have duration time meaning that movie can run in a certain amount of time. Therefore, movies like Harry Potter -the thickness of books are astronomical- cannot contain much details than book.

And also, in the movies, the changes of the scene is sometimes bit fast. But in books, we can follow the story by steps so can understand deeply. Especially, the fifth story of Harry Potter, changes of the scene was so fast so if people did not read book, is bit hard to understand.

However, there's advantages of movie. We can see the characters which described in the book.
Thus, most of children prefer to watch movie due to the appearances of characters. But abusing of watching movies make our sense of reading weak. For the result of abusing films, children who only watched movies cannot concentrate on books-including textbook- and that make them cannot make their grade good.
