1. what do you like about Singapore?

I like Singapore because there're many races in here. There really many different races-Chinese, Indian, Korean and stuff. And the bottom line why I like place where different races live is that there's many things to learn.
We were simply born in country where only has one majority race. This makes us difficult in fitting in the global- meaning: hard to fit in with other diffenrent races and countries. However, countries like Singapore's a good place for global leader. We can meet many other people and can talk about their different customs, cultures and things like that. Nowadays, the information and relationships between people and people are very very crucial. And Singapore fullfills this requirement by accommodating many races. That's why I like Singapore.

2. what do you dislike about Singapore?

However, if there's good thing on this side, there'll be the other aspect on the other side.
Despite learning more things in Singapore, Singapore restricts so many things. As I enter this country, I was so surprised because there's no chewing gums in 7-eleven or other supers. Honestly, that doesen't really astonishing. I saw the magazine which was about Singapore and found that there's T-shirts have some crucial laws printed on their back sides.

I thought that's quite interesting and fresh, so I bought on of the T-shirt and looked back side of it. And I startled. On the back side, there're some laws:no chewing gums, no pornos and no public speeches. The government banned so many things. There's almost no liberty in Singapore compare to Korea. So the thing that I mostly dislike about Singapore is lack of liberty.

3. what's the purpose of National Day Parade?

Ninths of August. There's a big Parade held at Marina Bay. This Parade was for celebration of this country 'Singapore'

The purpose of making this kind of Parade is ,I think , to inform their birthday to every nations and give pride to their citizens. As for the case of other countries, like Korea, there also has National Day and events. But ,unfortunatley , most of Koreans ,including me, just recognize that day as holiday. Almost all Koreans do their own businesses on that day. On the contrary, Singapore always make big big events for every single person and people also joined events enthusiastically.

4. Why do we celebrate National Day?

We celebrate our birthday. Many, frankly almost, people ,especially teenagers, think to celebrate their birthday is very common thing. And do so many things to celebrate themselves.
Like this, National Day is the birthday of our country. There's no arguement that why we celebrate our National Day.

We celebrate our birthday and we celebrate our contry's ,where we live , birthday. Of course, there're some people say this kind of things : 'I don't celebrate my birthday at all. Then why do I have to celebrate country's birthday?' If there's people who say things like this, I'm not going to stop them.

Because they deny their own importances. They probably think they are just born by the fusion of one sperm and an ovum. Then they'll become useless things. They can't think there's very few odds to make them born. Also, they can't think that this nation where they live is very important than anything like the birth of themselves.

So the conclusion is celebration of the nation is to celebrate their mother country and themselves who were born in the womb of their mothers who live in this country.
